Why are many Christians not consistently growing in Christ-likeness? The answer is not that they aren't trying hard enough. Rather, most Christians have a truncated view of the gospel, believing that the gospel is what you need to be saved, and then obedience is what you need to be sanctified. But the all-sufficient gospel is not only the way in, it is also the way on. The more deeply and fully we believe the gospel, the more we become like Jesus.
