What to Expect
If it is your first time visiting Vintage, you might want to know what to expect. If you have more questions or special concerns, please don’t hesitate to email us () or call 435.2933.
Our Sunday gathering meets at 9AM. If you have children we recommend that you arrive a couple of minutes early to find a parking spot and get your children checked in. Before the music begins feel free to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, and find your way to a seat. We’ll spend the first 25 or 30 minutes in song and prayer – you are welcome to participate as much or little as you like. It’s a very relaxed and informal atmosphere, so you won’t need to dress up, unless you want to. After singing we take a short break to greet each other. This is a great time to stop by the connect table in the foyer and pick up some of our free resources.
The service continues with a few short announcements, during which you’ll want to fill out a visitor card. This just gives us an opportunity to know you were there and to send a thank-you gift for spending the morning with us. If you want more information about Vintage, filling out one of those cards is the best place to start. We also take the offering during this time, but we encourage you to not give – you are our guest, and we are just glad you’ve made the effort to come!
Pastor Steve will then teach from the Bible, followed by a response time of singing and taking communion. After a few songs, we’ll wrap it up, and you’ll be on your way. Often there are informal gatherings that happen following the service, so keep your ears open for that. You can almost always find a group at the Elk or the Steamplant Grill shortly after the service!
