Browne's Addition

The Vintage Faith Community started in the Browne's Addition neighborhood just west of downtown in the fall of 2004.  Part of our reason for being in this neighborhood is the opportunity to partner with others to care for this historic part of Spokane.  The Browne's Addition Neighborhood Council (BANC) is a community organization of neighborhood residents that serves this neighborhood in a variety of ways.  BANC primarily exists to designate and spend Block Grant money - money given by the government to low-income neighborhoods to be used primarily for capital improvements.  The BANC meetings are every first Wednesday of the month at the MAC and begin at 6:30pm.  Everyone is welcome!

One of the BANC's primary yearly projects is the Summer Concert Series.  The annual summer concert series begins on Thursday, July 5th and runs every Thursday night in July and August.  This year's line-up brings a diverse musical collection to the neighborhood each Thursday evening beginning at 6pm, rain or shine!  For more info on the line-up, click here.
