Local Missionaries
We believe in empowering the missional dreams of Vintage Faith partners. This means we want to support you as you engage your world with the good news of the kingdom. The question that you must answer is this: “How is God sending me into His world?” It looks different for many in our community, but here are some examples:
A few of our mission partners work with Cup of Cool Water, an outreach to street youth in downtown Spokane. VFC supports Cup of Cool Water prayerfully, financially, and through encouraging partners to get involved.
Other mission partners volunteer with Youth For Christ, an outreach to kids in the West Central Neighborhood. We support them financially and prayerfully.
Some of our mission partners work in transitional homes for single mothers, helping them transition from street life and poverty to working and supporting their families.
Many individuals and a few of our groups partner to help with the Free Restaurant that happens at the Emanuel building on Tuesday nights.
We also have people working with Intervarsity at Eastern Washington University and with Japanese exchange students at Mukagowa.
The simple truth is that each of us is placed where we are by God himself for the his purposes in the world. We are all missionaries. Where has God placed & sent you? It doesn’t need to be “full-time ministry” to be ministry. In fact, the majority of people won’t lead specific ministries or mission works. They’ll work their jobs, live in their neighborhoods, grow their families, and be the gospel to those they come in contact with every day!
